Request for Proposals:
Nature-based Carbon Removals
Submissions are open, closing on 6 March.
goodcarbon has launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) on behalf of a Food & Beverage company seeking high-quality nature-based carbon removal credits to support its 2030 climate target.
Scope
Through this RFP, goodcarbon aims to contract up to 600,000 tCO2 of nature-based carbon removal credits, with delivery between 2028 and 2030.
We are inviting submissions from developers of high-integrity nature-based carbon removal projects, with a strong emphasis on environmental integrity, social safeguards, and delivery confidence.
Preference will be given to projects located in regions where the corporate client sources raw ingredients.
How Projects Will Be Assessed
Projects will be evaluated using a customised quality framework, developed jointly with the corporate client and building on goodcarbon’s Nature Analytics Framework.
The assessment follows a two-step process:
- Initial eligibility screening
- Detailed due diligence for shortlisted projects
This process is designed to ensure high environmental integrity, strong safeguards, and long-term value for climate, nature, and communities.
How to Apply
Project developers interested in participating are invited to submit project information for initial screening. As a first step, we will conduct a geographic eligibility check to confirm that projects are within the client’s designated sourcing regions.
