goodcarbon launches Global RFI for leading German Enterprise client

Call to project developers -
goodcarbon launches global RFI for nature-based carbon removal

Submissions are now open, and closing on July 10th.

goodcarbon has been formally engaged by a leading German Enterprise Client to source long-term offtakes of nature-based carbon removal credits with delivery between 2030-2040.

The process starts with an RFI, and results in a binding selection with contracting in Q4. The Corporate Client will be using the credits to contribute to its climate targets.

Scope

What we are looking for: Up to 520,000 tonnes of nature-based carbon removal credits across three pathways:

    • ARR: 200,000 credits
    • Wetlands (Mangroves/Peatland): 160,000 credits
    • Soil Organic Carbon: 160,000 credits
    • Yearly delivery between 2030 and 2040

We are inviting submissions from developers of high-integrity nature-based carbon removal projects, with a strong emphasis on environmental integrity, social safeguards, and delivery confidence.

Process

Projects will be evaluated using goodcarbon Nature Analytics Framework and scored against the specific requirements of the Corporate Client. This process is designed to ensure high environmental integrity, strong safeguards, and long-term value for climate, nature, and communities.

The submission portal will open from July 1st and close on July 10th 2026 at 6 pm CET. Shortlisted projects will be notified late August 2026 with due diligence and contracting targeted for Q4 2026.
